Plakkie Classic Surf Competition

The first-ever Plakkie Classic Surf Competition will be held in Victoria Bay over Youth Day Weekend. The four-day contest will offer events from u/12 to u/18 for boys and girls, with a total pot of R50 000 in prize money.

It is our mission at Plakkie to spread awareness about Mental Health issues affecting South African youth, whilst promoting surfing as a serious competitive sport. That's why we have partnered with Mental Health Hub Are You Okay?, who will be providing all entrants and their families with a free one-month platform membership.
