Our Heritage Veldskoen was our first and remains our most popular product range. Each pair is crafted from full-grain, reversible bovine leather that is hydrophobic and breathable, so it shrugs off splashes while letting your feet breathe. Reimagined with our signature colourful Veldskoen® soles and our streamlined design, they remain, in essence, everything a traditional South African pair of Veldskoen should be; tough, comfortable, and reliable.
Farmer Grey
The Farmer is our nod to the folks who wear Veldskoen every day. Southern African farmers have worn Veldskoen since the 17th century. Good Veldskoen are hardworking and tough as nails. They can, and will, get the job done. Just like good farmers.

These shoes are really comfy, practical and stylish. The only thing I'd say is you definitely need to put protective spray on them to keep them lovely and fresh. I live in the UK and feel proud to be rocking such good quality shoes from Cape Town!
Love them from the word go, very comfortable. Only thing I've picked up is that the sole wears quickly. But I love them. Best allrounder, with jeans, with shorts, to church, etc.

This is the third pair of Veldskoen vellies I have bought, and my first two went through a lot! I cycled from Pretoria to Gaborone in ONLY my Veldskoen shoes on a cycling tour in 2024, and then hiked the entire Fish River Canyon in ONLY Veldskoen vellies in 2025. I haven’t decided how I’m going to finish off my new pair yet, but these are really excellent quality, great vellies! Thank you so much!
