Our tan and white Plakkie is inspired by Coffee Bay - a small town on South Africa's Wild Coast with the most spectacular views and beaches. Coffee Bay is a popular destination for sunbathers, surfers, and horse trails.
According to the local lore a cargo ship carrying coffee beans was wrecked along the Wild Coast and the coffee beans supposedly washed out on the shores, which led to a few coffee trees starting to grow. Unfortunately, the conditions were not suitable for the trees to survive, but the name surely did!
