Hello! I lived in South Africa from November 2021 to January 2025, which is where I discovered the Veldskoen brand. I tried on a pair of Safari Chelsea boots, and for the first time, it felt like wearing slippers! I never took them off and wore them practically every day until August 2026, when I replaced them with a new pair. They are incredibly comfortable—whether on safari, in the countryside, or in the City ! I have been living in France since February 2026… and continue to wear them every day.

Love the shoes. But because I ordered from Germany, it was surprisingly expensive! Unfortunately, it wasn't possible to see the shipping and customs costs beforehand; they were simply included in the price of the shoes on the invoice, making it very confusing. I love the shoes themselves, though.
I love these shoes, this is my third pair and I find myself reaching for them more times than any other shoe I own, so comfortable, so classic, just the best all round daily wearers money can buy.
a friend gifted my husband a size 7. it was small. decided to buy him a size 8. it turned out to be big. He had especially loved the brand. so now we are not sure how to proceed.
The Chelsea Safari (Black Sole) shoes are now the third pair of Veldskoen shoes I have purchased and have in my wardrobe, as the brand is such a comfortable fit for me for every day use.
This new pair have proven to be just as comfortable as each of the other pairs, moulding to the shape of my foot beautifully.
I find the non-slip sole of the Veldskoen brand to be of extra benefit.

Love love love these shoes so much. Comfortable, perfect fit and I have not put any other shoe on my feet since these arrived. Day one a bit snug on the bridge of my feet, but by day two, I could feel it was already formed around the shape of my feet. I am already saving up for my next pair :)
